On September 11, the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) launched a new national education initiative, Think It Up, with a live, special broadcast on all four major US networks. Inspired Teaching was invited to attend the telecast in Los Angeles and to contribute to the initiative.
Inspired Teaching kicks off 20th Anniversary Celebration with event at Nats Park
On August 26, Inspired Teaching invited Inspired Teachers from all programs – from 15 year veterans to teachers entering the classroom for the first time – to come together for a special, 20th Anniversary celebration at Nationals Park.
DCPS and Inspired Teacher Leaders introduce Cornerstones at district-wide PD days
At last week’s professional development days for DC Public Schools teachers, Inspired Teacher Leaders in BLISS: Building Literacy in the Social Studies and SCALE: Science Curriculum Advancement through Literacy Enhancement introduced their colleagues to Cornerstone lessons, created by the Teacher Leaders, which will be taught in every DCPS school this year.
