Inspired Teaching partners with National Center for Teacher Residencies on new initiative

November 20, 2015

Center for Inspired Teaching will partner with the National Center for Teacher Residencies (NCTR) to continue transforming teacher preparation as NCTR becomes one of five Teacher Preparation Transformation Centers across the United States. NCTR’s Transformation Center, the Four Drivers Project, was made possible by a recent grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The Inspired Teacher Certification Program – a 24-month residency model – was selected to join NCTR’s national network of residency programs in recognition of Inspired Teaching’s impact and effectiveness preparing new teachers for successful and sustainable careers as educators in Washington, DC. Inspired Teaching will be one of seventeen providers for the NCTR Transformation Center.
