On September 11, the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) launched a new national education initiative, Think It Up, with a live, special broadcast on all four major US networks. Inspired Teaching was invited to attend the telecast in Los Angeles and to contribute to the initiative.

DCPS and Inspired Teacher Leaders introduce Cornerstones at district-wide PD days
At last week’s professional development days for DC Public Schools teachers, Inspired Teacher Leaders in BLISS: Building Literacy in the Social Studies and SCALE: Science Curriculum Advancement through Literacy Enhancement introduced their colleagues to Cornerstone lessons, created by the Teacher Leaders, which will be taught in every DCPS school this year.

On August 5 and 6, school leaders from across Washington, DC joined Center for Inspired Teaching and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education for a citywide STEM Leadership Academy for Principals.
