Listen to this week’s Hooray For Monday podcast to hear from the Inspired Teaching staff, who share their reflections on the teachers they’re grateful for.
Research shows that when we share our gratitude with others, we boost our own feelings of wellbeing and simultaneously inspire those around us to be more generous, kind, and helpful, as well.
It is with this understanding of the contagious effect of expressed appreciation that the Inspired Teaching staff shares our own reflections on gratitude – specifically the gratitude we have for the teachers who helped to shape our understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. From a first-grade teacher who made one staff member feel invincible to a high school French teacher who helped another feel welcome in a new school, the educators we discuss in this week’s Hooray For Monday podcast at the button below illustrate that being a “great” teacher requires curiosity and the belief that your students are inherently capable.
In keeping with this spirit, I want to also express appreciation for your support, from engaging with Hooray For Monday’s resources each week to the donations that help keep our programming free for students and teachers, you make authentically engaging school experiences possible. Thank you.
And in advance of Giving Tuesday tomorrow, I wanted to let you know that we’re not asking anything of you this year; we will be doing the giving. Keep an eye on your inbox to receive special resources as a “thank you” for being an integral part of the Inspired Teaching community.
