On May 20, third grade students from the Inspired Teaching Demonstration School performed at the 35th annual Emily Jordan Folger Children’s Shakespeare Festival, held at the Folger Shakespeare Library.

With the support of their teacher, Mr. Ben Frazell, students brought to life scenes from Romeo & Juliet, performing the dialogue as written by Shakespeare to an audience of their peers, parents, and community members.

Schools in the DC, Virginia, and Maryland metropolitan areas may apply to appear in this prestigious festival.
