This week, Inspired Teaching’s Aleta Margolis and fellow Champions of the Re-imagine Learning Challenge convened in Billund, Denmark for the 2015 Lego Idea Conference, joining an international group of educators and changemakers for a rich discussion of how to advance learning through play.
After a day spent discussing the barriers to bringing learning through play into every classroom, the 10 Re-Imagine Learning Challenge Champions were honored for the ways they have creatively broken through those barriers. Inspired Teaching was selected as a Champion in November 2014 by the LEGO Foundation and Ashoka Changemakers.
Inspired Teaching’s project, Creative Classrooms through Empowered Teachers, was selected from 632 entries submitted from 63 countries around the world. The project focuses on the ways Inspired Teaching teaches teachers to infuse serious play into learning experiences for students.
