This week, Inspired Teaching’s Aleta Margolis and fellow Champions of the Re-imagine Learning Challenge convened in Billund, Denmark for the 2015 Lego Idea Conference, joining an international group of educators and changemakers for a rich discussion of how to advance learning through play.

​After a day spent discussing the barriers to bringing learning through play into every classroom, the 10 Re-Imagine Learning Challenge Champions were honored for the ways they have creatively broken through those barriers.​ ​Inspired Teaching​​ was selected as ​a Champion in November 2014 by the LEGO Foundation and Ashoka​ ​Changemakers.

Inspired Teaching’s project, Creative Classrooms through Empowered Teachers, was selected from 632 entries submitted from 63 countries around the world.​ The project focuses on the ways Inspired Teaching teaches teachers to infuse serious play into learning experiences for students. ​
