Elly Young
Elly is an assistant principal in the Montgomery County Public School (MCPS) system. Elly came to work for Inspired Teaching as a program officer, and continued her work with Inspired Teaching as a faculty member. Elly taught in NYC Public Schools and MCPS before working in MCPS’ central office where she focused on professional learning, antiracist anti-bias education, and school improvement. Elly holds a BA in Public Communications from American University and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
