On August 6, 2013 Inspired Teaching Fellows Brittney Henderson and Beth Carmichael joined PNC and Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts for an evening discussing early childhood education and strategies for “Integrating Arts in Pre-K Education.”

Through an interactive presentation, guests learned firsthand about Wolf Trap’s research-based program and also experienced an arts integrated lesson led by a teaching artist/teacher team. The teaching artist/teacher team discussed the Wolf Trap Institute mentoring/coaching process and shared how they collaborated to effectively integrate arts into the early childhood classroom.

Ms. Henderson and Ms. Carmichael were invited to attend the event as representatives of Inspired Teaching, a PNC grantee partner.
