The Inspired Teaching Demonstration Public Charter School was named “Best Middle School” in the Washington City Paper’s “Best of DC” 2015 Readers’ Poll. The Demonstration School was also a runner-up finalist in the elementary school category.

At the Demonstration School, a professional learning community of master teachers and teacher residents ensures that a diverse group of students achieve their potential as accomplished learners, thoughtful citizens, and imaginative and inquisitive problem solvers. The inquiry- and standards-based curriculum and student goals are centered
on the 4 I’s: Intellect, Inquiry, Imagination, and Integrity.

Congratulations to Deborah Dantzler Williams, Head of School; Latisha Coleman, Middle School Principal; Zoe Duskin, Lower School Principal; and all Demonstration School teachers, students, staff, and families.
